Pictured at right is our 18" subwoofer powered by " B-Hive Motor Technology" At the heart of this linear motor is a Neodymium ring magnet that is radially magnetized.  The edge of  the magnet is pictured in purple in the cut away. The magnetic flux goes accross the gap towards the green pole pice in the center.  In the middle is the voice coil/former (orange).The main advantage of this approach is that the top plate necessary in conventional loudspeakers is completely eliminated.  By eliminating this Achilles heel excursion can be increased by orders of magnitude.  Now the peak excursions are only limited by the mechanical suspension design.   We use a progressive surround and large diameter double spiders so the cone can go the distance.

This is a high fidelity studio woofer that has the combination of efficiency and power handling needed for pro touring applications. The best of both worlds.

Prototying & production

We are able to prototype  drivers, crossovers and enclosures. We supply turnkey systems for many of our customers.  If your loudspeakers needs to be mounted or flown we are able  furnish certified rigging hardware with proper installation instructions. Safety is our #1 priority. We also have a complete audio test lab in house so we can accurately measure and document the performance of your loudspeakers. For over 18 years we have focused on unique Neodymium Transducers for an array of applications. We understand the science of loudspeaker design and the art of applying it. Our network of "speaker guys" can supply you with an assortment of "off the shelf" loudspeaker parts at a fair price or we can quickly tool custom pieces.

Test equipment that we have worked with include:

 LMS/Leap, B&K 2012, TEF, Melissa, Liberty Audio Suite, Lsp Cadd design software.  We have been trained at SYN-AUD-CON and understand how to use the EASE polar programs.
