Blue  -  Outer Pot structure ("honey dripper") low carbon steel
Purple - Neodymium Ring Magnet (NdFeB)
Light Blue - Copper Shorting ring  (Faraday)
Orange  - Voice Coil Edgewound Anodized Aluminum
Green    -  Inner Pot structure low carbon steel ("air diode" cooling)

* NEO magnets are radially magnetized  through their middle (thinner) cross section
So the  North - South poles run from the outside in (x-axis) toward the center of the motor structure
The magnetic lines of flux are perpendicular to the voice coil across the gap between the inner  and outer pole pieces
All of the magnetic flux is contained in the motor structure controlling the coil precisely! Following the right hand rule
B = direction of magnetic flux,  V = direction of the coil moving in the magnetic gap,  F = direction of the cone movement
No stray flux, inherently video shielded , No EMI                                                                                               http://cgnaudiolabs.com/Quickstart/ImageLib/Right_Hand_Rule_vBF2WEB.png
Extremely powerful and light weight,    High Efficiency/Low distortion     High Power handling/Large Excursion Capabilities

Note the field replaceable woofer cone/ basket, bolts on top of  this motor and would be facing upward if shown in this diagram
